N.G. KAUL, P.E. Has worked for the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation for 26 years. Is currently the Director, Division of Water, and responsible for water quality and quantity. Previous responsibilities include working for Water Quality Planning Studies, Non-point Source Pollution, Construction Grants Programs, and as Executive Assistant to the Deputy Commissioner of the Office of Environmental Quality. Previously served as the Director, Division of Hazardous Substances Regulation, where he was responsible for the hazardous waste, pesticides and radiation programs. Is a Professional Engineer with a Masters Degree in Environmental Engineering.
