Throughout the
Susquehanna River Basin, community members are coming together as
watershed organizations to make a difference with watershed restoration
and protection efforts. Often, these volunteer organizations do
not possess the legal expertise needed to establish a non-profit
organization; apply for protection under Pennsylvania's Good Samaritan
Act; or understand and address liability issues.
The Susquehanna
River Basin Commission's Legal Technical Assistance Program is intended
to build and enhance watershed organization's capacity and provide
training on issues, including:
501(c)3
Non-Profit Status
Articles of Incorporation
Pennsylvania's Good Samaritan Act
Liability

of your organization are considered.
