SRBC to Hold Business Meeting in Baltimore, Md.

Voting on 20 water project applications, regulatory program fees, Water Resources Program

HARRISBURG, Pa. – The Susquehanna River Basin Commission (SRBC) is conducting its quarterly business meeting Friday, June 15, 2018, 9 a.m., at the Crowne Plaza Baltimore Downtown-Inner Harbor, Carroll Room (lobby level), 105 W. Fayette St., Baltimore, MD  21201. The meeting is open to the public.

The Commissioners will act on several agenda items, including 20 project applications; election of new officers; regulatory program fee schedule for fiscal year 2019; current expense budget for fiscal year 2020; member allocations for fiscal year 2020; authorization of purchase approval threshold; approval for SRBC to enter into contracts and grants; records retention policy; delegation of settlement authority; adoption of the Water Resources Program for fiscal years 2019 through 2021; and amendment of the Comprehensive Plan for the Water Resources of the Susquehanna River Basin. SRBC staff will also report on delegated settlements.

Opportunities for public comment on project applications, fee schedule, records retention policy and the Comprehensive Plan were previously provided and additional comments will not be accepted at the meeting. However, the Commissioners may accept general public comments at the conclusion of the meeting.

SRBC’s guidelines for quarterly business meetings include: 

  • Attendees must sign-in and show photo identification.
  • Signage, posters, banners or other display media will be permitted only in designated areas.
  • The press will be permitted to set up and use video and recording devices in a designated area. The public will be permitted to use small, hand-held devices that remain in their possession and are used in a non-disruptive manner.
