SRBC to Hold Business Meeting in Baltimore, Md.

Voting on 25 water project applications, Water Resources Program, regulatory program fees

HARRISBURG, PA. – The Susquehanna River Basin Commission (SRBC) is conducting its quarterly business meeting Thursday, June 4, 2015, 9:00 a.m., City Crescent Building, 4th Floor, EEOC Conference Room,10 S. Howard St., Baltimore, Md. 21201. The meeting is open to the public.

The Commissioners will act on several agenda items, including 25 project applications; regulatory program fee schedule for fiscal year 2016; adoption of the Water Resources Program; preliminary fiscal year 2017 budget; notice for Four Seasons Golf Course project sponsor to appear and show cause before the Commission; regulatory compliance matter with Wyoming Valley Country Club; request from Augusta Water, Inc. for waiver of application and approval of transfer; request for waiver of applications from Shrewsbury Borough Council; and election of new officers.

SRBC will also host an informational presentation on the Lower Susquehanna subbasin.

Opportunities for public comment on project applications were provided previously; however, SRBC may accept general public comments at the conclusion of the meeting.

SRBC’s rules of conduct for quarterly business meetings include:

  • All persons must sign-in and show photo identification.
  • Signage, posters, banners or other display media will be permitted only in designated areas.
  • The press will be permitted to set up and use video and recording devices in a designated area.
  • The public will be permitted to use small, hand-held devices that remain in their possession and are used in a non-disruptive manner.
