Monitoring & Protection

The Monitoring and Protection program consists of two sections-the Monitoring & Assessment section and the Restoration & Protection section. SRBC aquatic biologists lead projects that involve water quality monitoring and sampling, assessments of biological communities, and habitat evaluations throughout the basin. SRBC environmental scientists conduct water quality studies focused on targeted issues of importance within the basin. Scientists from both sections work jointly with other agencies in efforts to evaluate, protect, and restore the water resources of the Susquehanna River Basin.
