Paxton Monitoring


11 monitoring stations were established to characterize the effects of stormwater in the watershed, both watershed-wide and at a site-specific scale.

Monitoring Focus:
» Characterizing water quality conditions
   watershed-wide.
» Characterizing the effects of storm events
   watershed-wide.
» Documenting pre- and post- restoration
   conditions at each demonstration site.

Data Collected Focus:
» Loads for nitrogen, phosphorus, and
   sediment.
» Flow, macroinvertebrates, and field
   chemistry (dissolved oxygen, pH,
   turbidity, etc.).
» Assessments of channel conditions and
   riparian health.
