The Tioga River headwaters begin west of Troy, PA and it flows west through Tioga State Forest to Blossburg, PA before turning north. The river continues north through Mansfield, PA and into Steuben County, NY where it joins the Chemung River east of Corning, NY. The entire Tioga River watershed extends from western Bradford County, PA through Tioga County, PA and into Steuben County, NY. The monitoring station is located in the headwaters northeast of Fall Brook, PA.
